    Rules and Regulations:

    • Photos must portray a scene or event at a cottage or a lake. Winning entries will “capture the moment” of a person, place or scene in cottage country.
    • Professional photographers and employees of The Cottager are not eligible to enter.
    • More than one entry may be submitted, but each photo must be identified with the photographer’s name, address and phone number.
    • Low resolution photos or those printed on home printers will not be accepted. Prints must be of a quality publishable in a magazine.
    • All entries become the property of Mercury Publications and will not be returned. Mercury Publications reserves the right to use the photographs in print or electronic form and for promotional purposes without further notice or compensation.

    How to order a Gift Subscription online (Canadian addresses only)

    Here is how to easily share The Cottager with Canadian friends or family via our online payment.

    • After clicking on the Buy Now button, you will be taken to a payment form where you will fill in your details.
    • To send a Gift Subscription, uncheck “Same as billing address” beside Shipping Address. More text fields will appear. Fill Canadian gift subscription name and address in the new fields.

    Then under Note to Seller click Add. A text box will appear. Please type in "Gift Subscription". Continue filling in your details and click Pay.

    Once The Cottager receives your payment confirmation, we will promptly send your Gift Subscription Announcement to the Recipient!
